We are seeking a meticulous and technically driven Field Service Engineer to validate product performance, resolve complex field issues, and support the deployment of advancedLED and smart lighting systems.

This role sits at the intersection of product engineering, field performance validation, and customer implementation. You will ensure our lighting systems meet rigorous performance, safety, and sustainability standards through structured laboratory testing and real-world analysis.

What You'll Own

🔬 Product Performance Validation

• Execute photometric, electrical, thermal, and mechanical testing of LED fixtures and drivers
• Validate performance against IES LM-79 and LM-80 methodologies
• Conduct reliability and stress testing under varied environmental conditions
• Ensure compliance with ETL, UL, FCC, DLC, NLC, ENERGY STAR, and RoHS standards
• Diagnose hardware and firmware failures using structured RCA methodologies
• Utilize precision test equipment:
• Multimeter (voltage, current, resistance, power factor)
• Oscilloscope (signal integrity, waveform analysis)
• Thermal imaging cameras
• Power analyzers
• Data acquisition loggers
• Provide actionable corrective feedback to R&D and manufacturing teams
• Recreate customer-site conditions in controlled lab environments
• Smart Lighting & Connected Systems
• Validate and troubleshoot intelligent control systems using:
• DALI
• Bluetooth Low Energy Mesh (BLE Mesh – advanced level required)
• Power over Ethernet (PoE)
• Test wireless signal integrity, node communication stability, and system scalability
• Support commissioning and integration of IoT-enabled lighting systems
• Field Deployment & Customer Support
• Provide on-site commissioning, validation, and technical support
• Assess installation environments and operational constraints
• Translate field observations into engineering improvements
• Generate structured test cases supporting the product development lifecycle
• Documentation & Reporting
• Deliver detailed, polished test reports and performance analyses
• Present data-driven recommendations to internal stakeholders
• Maintain high documentation standards aligned with compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
• Bilingual in Hindi (Required)
• Advanced knowledge of BLE Mesh architecture and troubleshooting
• Strong hands-on experience with: Multimeter and oscilloscope diagnostics, soldering and board-level rework, and hardware and firmware issue isolation
• Willingness to travel for field validation and customer support
