Epic Consultant

Job Description

• Lead the build, setup, and continuous enhancement of the Epic platform to support operational and clinical needs for Epic implementations in hospitals and healthcare institutions in Singapore.
• Translate business and organizational requirements into functional Epic module configurations and workflows.
• Support full lifecycle activities for Epic initiatives, including new implementations, system upgrades, and enhancement rollouts.
• Conduct comprehensive system testing, identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and fine-tune performance to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Oversee change management activities by evaluating change requests and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to implement updates smoothly.
• Monitor system performance indicators and user adoption metrics to proactively identify optimization opportunities.
• Maintain detailed documentation covering configurations, workflows, updates, and system modifications.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams, business users, and external partners for system-related matters.
• Provide user support and guidance, resolving incidents and addressing operational queries in a timely manner.
• Safeguard data integrity and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, internal governance policies, and compliance standards.
• Establish and maintain appropriate access controls and security measures to protect patient and organizational information.
• Recommend and drive system improvements to enhance usability, efficiency, and overall user experience.
• Stay updated on Epic releases, healthcare IT developments, and industry best practices to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Holds a current and valid Epic certification.
• Preferred certifications: Healthy Planet, MyChart.
• Experience participating in Epic implementation or optimization projects is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams, including business stakeholders, vendors, and internal project members.
