- Position OverviewThe ERP SCM Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing ERP solutions related to supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory, warehouse management, production planning, and logistics. The role involves working closely with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into ERP system solutions.2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Business Analysis & Requirement GatheringAnalyze client business processes related to supply chain (Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, Production, Logistics).Conduct workshops and interviews with stakeholders to gather functional requirements.Identify gaps between current processes and ERP system capabilities.Provide recommendations for process improvements and best practices.B. ERP Implementation & ConfigurationConfigure ERP modules related to SCM (e.g., MM, WMS, PP, Logistics).Customize system settings based on client requirements.Prepare functional specifications for technical teams (if customization is required).Support data migration activities (master data, transactional data).C. Solution Design & DocumentationDesign end-to-end supply chain solutions within ERP systems.Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and SOPs.Ensure alignment between business needs and system capabilities.D. Testing & Go-Live SupportConduct Unit Testing (UT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Identify and resolve system issues and bugs.Support clients during system go-live and post-implementation phases.E. Training & SupportProvide user training and create training materials.Offer post-implementation support and troubleshooting.Assist clients in optimizing system usage and improving efficiency.F. Stakeholder ManagementCommunicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and project managers.Provide regular project updates and reports.Ensure project deliverables meet timelines and quality standards.3. RequirementsA. EducationBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.B. Experience2–5+ years of experience in ERP implementation (SCM modules).Experience in ERP systems such as SAP ERP, Oracle NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.Experience in consulting or implementation projects is highly preferred.C. Technical SkillsStrong understanding of supply chain processes (Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Produce, Order-to-Delivery).Knowledge of ERP configuration and business workflows.Basic understanding of SQL or data analysis is a plus.D. Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.Good documentation and reporting skills.
