Set up in January 2016, CDE is an initiative of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC). Centre for Domestic Employees (CDE) works to ensure the fair treatment of domestic employees in Singapore through balanced and pragmatic approach and promotes cohesive social integration among the community.

ResponsibilitiesDrive and deliver projects with key stakeholders such as government ministries and international organisations, to enhance the Migrant Domestic Workers (MDWs) landscape in Singapore. Build and sustain strategic collaborations with Non-Governmental Organisations, Voluntary Welfare Organisations, Non-Profit Organisations and other industry partners to enhance the welfare of MDWs in Singapore.Strengthen the engagement with strategic partners (e.g., embassies, employment agencies etc) to enhance the standing of CDE within the MDW landscape. Contribute to the research and partnership efforts with Institutes of Higher Learning and international bodies.Other duties and projects as assigned.

RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Social Work, Business Administration, or Psychology. Relevant work experience in putting up report/papers for meetings, and/or strategic partnership management. Good oral and written communication skills.Proficient in research methodologies and statistical analysis. Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Passionate about social issues and is keen to support the migrant community in Singapore.May be required to work on some weekends (e.g. Sundays)Able to work independently and as a team.
