Finance Accounting Manager

Leon Cycle is an e-bike business that was established in Germany in 2014 and has since developed business operations in over 10 countries across Europe, North America and APAC. Leon Cycle offers a range of e-bike models from mountain bikes, folding e-bikes, and trekking e-bikes. Our range of products are sold via both our own online website as well as E-Commerce platforms and via our dealers and our own retail stores worldwide.

With strong growth and expansions in place, we are now seeking an Finance Accounting Manager for EU&NA based in Barcelona.

This role will require you to:

• Be fully accountable for the financial reporting and accounting of the group's commercial businesses involving our retail business operations (retail stores offline sales operations, online web and E-Commerce sales operations, B2B Dealer and Distributor sales operations)
• Be responsible for all CAPEX, OPEX reporting as well as sales and revenue recognition
• Coverage of financial reporting involves subsidiaries such as UK, Italy, Spain, France, Germany as well as business partnering with our Finance BP in North America
• Partner with IT to support ERP implementation
• Work with industrial and manufacturing finance team to finalize consolidated reporting for the group
• Ensure bookkeeping and balance sheet including P&L accuracy from overseas subsidiaries
• Liaison with overseas CPA firms as needed
• Oversee all international taxation matters
• Partner with Treasury Manager to ensure cashflow efficiency
• Other responsibilities as requested by CEO

Requirements:

• 5 -10 years of accounting and finance reporting capacity in a retail / consumer goods industry with local and overseas operations
• Strong hands on experience in delivering accounting reports and consolidated reports
• Excellent English communication skills
• Strong confidence in communicating across all departments
• A firm and strong personality to manage a team of accountants and subordinates with clear directions and KPI monitoring to deliver results on deadline.
• Ability to handle large volume of financial data via Excel spreadsheets, expert in Excel
• Able to work overtime due to time differences as this is a global scope
• CPA or ACCA qualified
