The Role

Zeno is looking for a detail-oriented, execution-focused Finance Executive to support core accounting, financial reporting, and compliance in a fast-growing e-mobility organization.

This is a hands-on role reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy, strong controls, and timely reporting.

What You’ll Do:

Core Accounting & Book Closure:

Manage day-to-day accounting entries, ensure timely month-end closure, and maintain accuracy of financial records.

Financial Reporting & MIS:

Prepare MIS reports, schedules, and dashboards; support monthly and quarterly reporting with variance analysis and insights.

Taxation & Compliance:

Assist in GST/VAT filings, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to local regulations.

Variance Analysis:

Track and analyze variances across budgets vs actuals, highlighting key trends and risks.

Schedule Preparation:

Prepare reconciliations and supporting schedules for audits and financial reporting.

Treasury Management:

Monitor cash flow, manage bank transactions, and support treasury operations including payments and collections.

Fixed Asset Accounting:

Maintain fixed asset register, capitalization, depreciation, and periodic reconciliation.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Manage vendor invoices, payments, customer invoicing, and follow-ups for collections.

Import/Export Accounting:

Handle accounting and documentation related to import/export transactions, duties, and compliance.

What You Bring:

• 2–3 years of experience in core accounting
• Strong Excel proficiency, MIS reporting and variance analysis
• Working knowledge of taxation (direct & indirect)
• Exposure to treasury management and reconciliations
• Experience with fixed asset accounting
• Exposure to import/export transactions is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field

Nice to Have:

• Experience in a startup, manufacturing, or EV ecosystem
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo pref.)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
