Role Description

Finance Consultant plays a crucial role in helping clients navigate complex financial challenges and achieve their business objectives through strategic financial management and advice.


Responsibilities

· Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.

· Prepare consolidation schedules, elimination entries, intercompany reconciliations, and supporting workings.

· Review subsidiary-level submissions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

· Support consolidation system uploads and validations, as applicable.

· Assist with general ledger review, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

· Monitor timely and accurate closing of books as per the closing calendar.

· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collate closing information and resolve discrepancies.

· Support the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and operating plans.

· Coordinate with business units to gather inputs and validate assumptions.

· Prepare variance analysis between actuals vs budget/forecast.

· Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as required by management.

· Business Process Improvement: Evaluate and improve financial processes and operational efficiency within client organizations


Qualification and Requirement

· Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field, preferably with professional qualification like Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or similar

· Experience: 0-3 years of relevant experience in consulting or corporate finance, with a demonstrated track record of GL and finalization

· Strong personal impact, and comfortable dealing with senior and C suite level stakeholders

· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts in a clear and crisp manner

· Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing client needs, project requirements, and industry trends

· Self-motivated and ability to work without supervision remotely

· Ability to work in a dynamic environment and to turn around things quickly

· Willingness to travel as needed
