Role Overview
We are supporting our client, a regional investment platform with a sizeable portfolio, in appointing a senior finance leader. This individual will work closely with the CFO, playing a key role across financial management, investment support, and strategic initiatives, while overseeing both fund and asset-level finance activities with strong emphasis on governance and controls.
Key Responsibilities Finance Leadership & Oversight
Lead, mentor and manage the finance team, ensuring strong execution and continuous developmentPartner with cross-functional teams (investment, asset management, operations) to support business objectivesDrive financial planning processes including annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term projectionsFund & Portfolio Financial Management
Oversee fund accounting, valuation processes, and investor reporting deliverablesReview and analyse asset-level performance, including revenue, cost structures, and returnsMonitor liquidity position, capital deployment, and distribution planningProvide insights and recommendations to enhance portfolio performanceGovernance, Risk & Compliance
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirementsManage end-to-end audit processes and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisorsOversee tax compliance, statutory filings, and reporting obligationsStrengthen internal controls, risk management practices, and governance frameworksTreasury & Capital Management
Work closely with treasury on cash flow management and optimisation of liquidityMonitor financing arrangements, including debt covenants and refinancing timelinesSupport engagement with financial institutions on credit facilities and funding structuresInvestment & Transaction Support
Partner with the investment team on acquisitions and divestmentsProvide financial analysis, modelling, and support for deal evaluationParticipate in due diligence processes and review transaction structuresAssess financial and tax implications of transactions at both asset and fund levelsStakeholder Management
Act as a finance business partner to internal stakeholders across functionsSupport investor-related reporting and communications alongside senior leadershipManage relationships with external parties including auditors, lenders, and advisorsRequirementsDegree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with professional qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA or equivalent)Approximately 20 years of relevant experience, ideally within real estate, private equity, or similar investment environmentsStrong experience in financial reporting, planning, and asset/portfolio performance managementExposure to transactions, including financial due diligence and deal structuringProven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop teamsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsDetail-oriented, analytical, and able to operate effectively in a dynamic environmentInterested candidates please click APPLY NOW.
