This is a hands-on, ownership-heavy role where you will be the financial backbone of the company.

💼 What You’ll Own

1️⃣ Accounting & Financial Operations

Maintain accurate books (monthly, quarterly, annual closing)

Own vendor payments, reconciliations & payout schedules

Manage invoicing (clients, studios, vendors)

Track expenses, reimbursements & approvals

Ensure clean monthly closures

2️⃣ MIS & Financial Reporting

Prepare founder-level monthly MIS:

Revenue, GMV, margins

Cost center spend

Budget vs Actual analysis

Proactively flag cost overruns & inefficiencies

Build financial visibility across Tech, Product, BD & Ops

3️⃣ Budgeting & Financial Discipline

Own quarterly & annual budgets

Track line-item level spends

Highlight:

Budget breaches

Unhealthy run-rates

Poor ROI spends

Enforce internal controls & approval workflows

4️⃣ Compliance & Statutory

GST filings & reconciliations

TDS, PF, Professional Tax

Coordinate with auditors & consultants

Ensure zero compliance slippages

5️⃣ Advisory & Strategic Finance Support

Advise founders on GST implications (gaming, ecommerce, rewards)

Improve billing structures & tax efficiency

Support fundraising & due diligence

Build scalable finance SOPs & systems

✅ Must-Have

Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory

2–4 years post-qualification experience

Strong startup accounting & compliance exposure

Deep understanding of GST, TDS, PF, PT, audits

Detail-obsessed & process-driven

High integrity & ownership mindset

Experience in startup / fintech / ecommerce / gaming

Comfortable with messy data & building structure

Experience working directly with founders
