Role Overview

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations at Rentkar. You’ll be responsible for bookkeeping, reconciliations, GST/Tax compliance, and ensuring smooth financial reporting. This role is critical to keeping Rentkar’s fast-growing operations financially sound and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations: bookkeeping, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable and vendor/client payments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances are filed accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with auditors, CA firms, and internal teams for financial audits.
• Monitor cash flow, expense reports, and budget adherence.
• Support management with MIS reports, dashboards, and financial insights.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting/finance (startup/e-commerce background preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Zoho Books/QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and Indian tax compliances.
• Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets for financial reporting.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• B.Com/M.Com or equivalent degree (CA Inter/CS Semi-qualified is a plus).
