About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Finance Lead who will manage day-to-day finance operations, statutory compliance, accounting processes, and financial reporting. This role requires someone who can operate in a fast-paced fintech environment and bring structure, accuracy, and financial discipline to the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Operations
- Manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping and financial analysis
- Own end-to-end AP, AR, banking, accruals, revenue and cost accounting
- Oversee vendor payments, customer invoicing, collections and reconciliations
- Maintain clean AP/AR records and aging reports
Compliance & Statutory Filings
- Handle GST filings, TDS/TCS compliance and advance tax
- Manage payroll compliance requirements
- Ensure compliance with IndAS / IGAAP standards
Financial Reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closures
- Prepare P&L statements, balance sheets and cash flow reports
- Maintain accurate books aligned with accounting standards
Planning & Analysis
- Support budgeting and financial forecasting
- Perform variance analysis
- Build financial models to support business decisions
Systems & Automation
- Manage finance tools like Zoho Books, Tally, QuickBooks or similar systems
- Drive automation initiatives in finance processes
- Improve financial data workflows
Audit & Controls
- Support statutory, internal and tax audits
- Strengthen internal controls
- Ensure financial data accuracy and risk mitigation
Requirements
- MBA (Finance) or Semi-qualified CA
- 3–4 years of experience in accounting and finance operations
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory filings
- Experience in financial reporting and bookkeeping
- Hands-on experience with accounting tools like Zoho, Tally or QuickBooks
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Understanding of financial modelling is preferred
