Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Accounting Standards, Companies Act, GST, and Income Tax regulations
• Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally
• Monitor and review accounting entries and financial transactions
• Supervise and guide junior finance team members

2. Reconciliations & Monitoring

• Perform monthly GST reconciliations
• Quick commerce sales and payment reconciliations
• Monitor and reconcile debtor accounts
• Oversee offline store reconciliations
• Monitor subsidiary accounts and ensure accuracy

3. Financial Reporting & MIS

• Preparation of Monthly MIS reports
• Monthly book closure and financial statement preparation
• Analysis of financial data to support management decision-making

4. Banking & External Coordination

• Liaison with banks for loan renewals and other banking matters
• Preparation and submission of monthly stock statements
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely closure of audits
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with Secretarial, Revenue, Procurement, and Store teams
• Ensure smooth financial operations across departments

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualification - Chartered Accountant
• 4–7+ years of relevant experience
• Prior experience in a startup or D2C company is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, Companies Act, GST, and Income Tax
• Hands-on experience with Tally
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
