Finance Manager

Role Overview

Xentric Global is hiring a Finance Manager to work for one of the clients. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing financial reporting, balance sheet integrity, cash flow, and financial controls. The role involves driving process improvements, ensuring compliance, and supporting business scalability in a fast-growing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Controls

 Manage key balance sheet areas, including reconciliations and journal entries

 Lead the monthly close process and ensure timely and accurate reporting

 Maintain strong financial controls and proper documentation

 Support internal and external audits

Accounts Receivable and Cash Management

 Oversee debtor ledger, collections, and reconciliations

 Monitor and reconcile payment platforms such as Stripe, PayPal, Amazon, and eBay

 Review merchant fees and ensure correct settlements

Accounts Payable

 Manage the accounts payable function end-to-end

 Ensure timely processing and payment of supplier invoices

 Conduct regular creditor reviews and resolve discrepancies 

Systems and Process Improvement

 Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce manual work

 Work with internal teams to enhance system efficiency and data accuracy

 Support ongoing finance transformation initiatives

Team Management

 Manage and support junior team members

 Ensure work is allocated effectively and deadlines are met

Other Responsibilities

 Handle chargebacks and payment disputes

 Support cost monitoring and analysis

 Assist with ad hoc financial tasks and projects

Candidate Profile

 Qualified accountant (CA / CPA / ACCA or equivalent)

 Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and controls

 Experience working with ERP systems and Excel; exposure to BI tools is an advantage

 Good communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholders

 Practical, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling day-to-day finance operations

 Prior experience in a high-volume or fast-paced environment is preferred
