Game Writer / Narrative Designer

Job Title: Game Writer / Narrative DesignerWe are seeking talented Game Writers / Narrative Designers to join our growing game development team.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape engaging and immersive player experiences through compelling storytelling, creative content packaging, and high-quality in-game writing. You will play a key role in bringing rich game worlds to life, crafting memorable narratives, expressive dialogue, and player-facing text that enhances how players experience the game.

In this role, you will not only write narrative content but also help bring it to life in-game through hands-on implementation and close collaboration with the wider development team. You will contribute to shaping how story, systems, and text are experienced by players across the game.

What You’ll DoDesign, implement, and localize in-game narrative content, including story text, dialogue, and quest writingCreate and refine a wide range of player-facing content, including UI copy, system messaging, and creative content packagingEnsure all written content is consistent with the game’s tone, world-building, and overall player experienceBring narrative content to life in-game through direct implementation and iteration within the development pipelineCollaborate closely with designers, artists, product, and other cross-functional teams to align narrative content with gameplay systems and design directionIterate on narrative and text content based on gameplay needs, design feedback, and player experience insights

What We’re Looking ForStrong writing skills in narrative storytelling and/or game-related content creationAbility to adapt writing style across different game tones, genres, and target audiencesStrong passion for games and interactive storytellingComfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced game development environmentStrong communication skills in English, with working proficiency in Mandarin for cross functional collaboration with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders (players/regional team members).Candidates are required to provide writing samples or a portfolio during the interview process
