Genai Backend Engineer

We thank you for your understanding.*** Position Overview As a backend engineer contractor will help build GenAI services and infrastructure to accelerate design of enterprise Owned Brands. The systems you build will connect designers to emerging trend data, empowering them to explore, analyze and act upon emerging trends quickly and accurately. Project Overview Supporting the rollout of GenAI services. Qualifications 5+ years of relevant industry experience. Ability to work in a highly collaborative Agile engineering environment is essential to success in this role. Fluency in Python and attendant ecosystem. Experience with PostgreSQL, Opensearch, Object Storage (S3/etc.). Preferred Qualifications Knowledge/experience with vector databases. Experience building data infrastructure. Cleaning, tagging, indexing data for consumption by internal users. Integration with external data providers. Experience building applications in a containerized environment. Knowledge of emerging GenAI patterns, frameworks and use-cases. LangGraph/LangChain/Google GenAI/etc. Context Engineering / RAG / Agentic AI. Knowledge of existing commercial AI ecosystem (Gemini/ChatGPT/etc.).
