About the Role:

Reporting To: Vice President – Finance

We are seeking a General Manager – FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis for our hotel/hotel group. The role partners with operations, sales, revenue management, and corporate teams to improve profitability and support strategic decisions. The role is based in Chennai and reports into a VP Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting.
• Analyze ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, GOPPAR, flow-through, and departmental performance.
• Provide variance analysis and actionable insights to leadership.
• Build and maintain financial models, dashboards (Excel/Power BI/Tableau), and KPIs.
• Support rate strategy, channel mix, cost control, and productivity improvements.
• Partner with operational teams to optimize margins and spending.
• Prepare Board/corporate reports and support audits.
• Contribute to system implementations (PMS, POS, ERP, BI tools).

Strategic Finance

• Support capital expenditure priorities (capital allocation, liquidity planning).
• Assist with M&A (financial due diligence, valuation, synergy analysis, integration support).

Qualifications

• CA/CIMA/CPA preferred.
• 8+ years’ experience with 3+ years in FP&A/financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of hotel KPIs and systems (Opera/Protel, Micros, SAP/Oracle).
• Advanced Excel; Power BI/Tableau preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
