Job Description
Develops and manages strategic customers (Key Accounts) of TÜV Rheinland (TR) Group with a mid‑and long‑term growth focus. Responsible for setting and achieving strategic objectives across geographies and Business Streams.
- Identify, qualify, and prioritize strategic clients with high growth potential; build senior‑level relationships to position TÜV Rheinland as a trusted partner and enable solution‑based selling.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with senior decision makers and influencers across assigned Key Accounts to drive growth, satisfaction, and retention.
- Lead a cross‑functional Key Account team, coordinating Sales, Operations, and Technical stakeholders to address customer needs and support account development.
- Develop and execute Key Account strategies, including annual plans, revenue targets, and growth initiatives aligned with TR’s commercial objectives.
- Identify and close new business opportunities across TR’s service and product portfolio with a strong solution‑selling approach.
- Conduct strategic and operational reviews with customer leadership to understand evolving needs and translate them into tailored TR solutions.
- Support development of new services and customer‑specific solutions; contribute to business cases, pricing, and investment decisions.
- Lead or support design and implementation of customer‑specific workflows and delivery models to ensure efficiency and contractual alignment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for designated Key Accounts, ensuring clear communication and internal coordination with delivery teams.
- Develop, negotiate, and manage global and international framework agreements and service contracts in line with TR governance.
- Maintain accurate CRM data (e.g., Salesforce) and use CRM tools for insights, pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
Education
University Degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience
Experience & Further Qualifications
- University degree in Business, Management, a relevant technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 5–10 years in Key Account Management, Brand Management, or related roles in TIC or consulting, with exposure to supply‑chain auditing, risk mitigation, ESG, EHS, or Business Excellence services.
- Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
- Strong MS Office and CRM (preferably Salesforce) skills.
- Demonstrated results‑oriented mindset and ability to operate in dynamic environments.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and client‑engagement skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; capable of building long‑term relationships.
- Strong time‑management and prioritization skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, including domestic and occasional international trips.
