Global Product Manager

Role Purpose

The Global Product Manager will drive ACG Worldwide’s efforts in identifying, evaluating, and building breakthrough technologies aligned to ACG’s strategic priorities across pharma manufacturing, packaging, and industrial automation ecosystems.

This role requires a strong foundation in manufacturing engineering, automation, machine design, or plant operations, with demonstrated transition into digital, Industry 4.0, IIoT, smart factory, or product leadership roles.

The incumbent will bridge shop-floor realities with digital innovation, enabling ACG to build or acquire technologies that enhance operational excellence, connected manufacturing, and future-ready industrial platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Scouting & Investments

• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies across:
• Industry 4.0
• Digital Manufacturing
• MES/MOM systems
• IIoT platforms
• Smart factory solutions
• Automation, robotics, and connected machine ecosystems
• Conduct rigorous techno-commercial due diligence, including:
• Manufacturing feasibility
• Integration with plant environments
• Industrial scalability
• Strategic portfolio fit
• Assess startups and technologies with potential to enhance ACG’s supplement manufacturing, packaging machinery, and pharma operations.

Product Strategy & Development

• Conceptualize and build digital/industrial products rooted in:
• Factory digitization
• Connected equipment
• Predictive maintenance
• Automation intelligence
• Data-driven manufacturing optimization
• Define product roadmaps integrating:
• Hardware + software
• Enterprise integration layers
• Partner with R&D, engineering, automation, and digital teams to deliver commercially viable industrial solutions.

Project Leadership

• Drive structured execution of cross-functional initiatives involving Engineering, Automation, Digital platforms, External industrial tech partners
• Present structured investment and product cases to MD and Board.
• Ensure smooth integration of acquired technologies into ACG’s manufacturing and equipment ecosystem.

M&A & Integration

• Ensure alignment between acquired digital capabilities and ACG’s machine/plant infrastructure.

Preferred candidates must have:

Began their careers in:

• Manufacturing engineering
• Machine design
• Automation / controls engineering
• Plant operations / commissioning

Have hands-on exposure to:

• Industrial automation environments

Later transitioned into:

• Product management
• Digital transformation
• Industry 4.0 initiatives
• Industrial IoT platforms

Experience within:

Pharma manufacturing, Packaging machinery, Industrial automation, Engineering-led organizations

Exposure to:

• Startup evaluation, Industrial tech investments, Corporate innovation

Qualifications and Experience:

• MBA from premier institute preferred and mandatory
• Candidates with strong engineering-to-product progression.
