Head of Corporate Finance, Investment Banking (SG/MY)

Our client is widely recognised for its deep regional connectivity and distribution strength, particularly across Asian institutional investors. It has built a credible position in equity capital markets and strategic advisory, supported by a well-regarded research franchise and strong access to liquidity pools across the region.

This is a front-office leadership role combining coverage with regional ECM and M&A execution. The successful candidate will play a central role in both originating opportunities and executing transactions, while helping to scale the broader corporate finance platform.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead corporate finance coverage, working closely with regional stakeholders on deal origination and executionPlay a central role in ECM and M&A transactions across Southeast Asia, supporting end-to-end deal deliveryPrepare and present investment materials, including pitchbooks, market analysis, and client proposalsConduct financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence to support transaction executionSupport deal processes including investor engagement, roadshows, and documentationWork closely with senior bankers while also operating with a degree of independence on transactionsMaintain internal deal databases, credentials, and research materials

RequirementsDegree in Finance, Business, or a related disciplineMeets regulatory requirements to advise on corporate finance transactions (e.g. relevant licensing or equivalent experience)Solid experience in corporate finance / investment banking, with exposure to ECM and/or M&A transactionsStrong technical skillset across financial modelling, valuation, and due diligencePrior experience working on Southeast Asia transactions is advantageousStrong communication and stakeholder management skills
