Head Of Supply Chain Management

Job Role - Head – Supply Chain & Device Operations (POS / Payment Devices)

Own the end-to-end lifecycle of payment devices — from sourcing and distribution to activation, servicing, and recovery — for a fast-scaling merchant ecosystem.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Sourcing & Vendor Management

a) Manage OEM partnerships, pricing, SLAs, and quality

b) Ensure regulatory and partner compliance

c) Drive device cost optimization

2.Distribution & Inventory

a) Build and manage a hybrid deployment model: 1) Sales-led (field distribution) 2) Direct-to-merchant (courier-led)

b) Set up and manage warehouse network (central + regional)

c) Own inventory tracking (serial/IMEI level), availability, and aging

d) Manage logistics partners; optimize delivery timelines and cost per shipment

3.Device Activation & Mapping

a) Own device-to-merchant mapping across all deployment flows

b) Ensure seamless integration with onboarding and backend systems

c) Minimize time from dispatch to first transaction

d) Build and improve systems for device tracking, allocation, and lifecycle visibility

4. Service & Asset Lifecycle Management

a) Build and manage a nationwide service and repair network

b) Handle DOA, repairs, replacements, and device recovery

c) Drive refurbishment and reuse to optimize lifecycle value

d) Ensure >95% device uptime

5.Own key metrics including cost per device deployed, activation TAT, service TAT, inventory turns, and device uptime

Candidate Profile -

a) 15–18+ years in supply chain, logistics, or device operations

b) Experience managing large-scale device deployments

c) Strong in vendor management, field operations, and service networks

d) Strong understanding of system integrations across operations and backend

e) Proven experience in managing high-volume Reverse Logistics
