Job Description
Ensure high safety standards as a dedicated Safety Consultant. Lead implementation of comprehensive safety practices to protect health and well-being within a healthcare environment. This consultant role reports directly to management and focuses on applying health and safety legislation, standards, and quality improvement methodologies.
You will support the management system and work to exceed minimum safety standards, ensuring effective deployment across the organization. Travel within Saskatchewan is required, highlighting the dynamic nature of this position. Key Responsibilities: • Apply safety practices and standards consistently • Implement the SHA Management System effectively • Ensure compliance with regulations and practices • Support quality improvement methodologies • Address client concerns within a health care context Requirements: • Undergraduate degree or diploma in health-related field • Experience in health care and related roles • Valid Class 5 driver's license required • Knowledge of Saskatchewan's healthcare system • Understanding of First Nations and Métis history Drive health and safety initiatives to foster a secure environment for both staff and patients while excelling in quality standards. #J-18808-Ljbffr
