Affiliate Faculty Positions in Health Care Management

The Department of Health Professions at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions in Health Care Management.

Responsibilities include teaching 3 or more credit hours in areas such as Health Care Organization, Health Care Jurisprudence, Financial Management in Health Care, Human Resource Management in Health Care, Health Care Economics, Management Principles in Health Care, and Strategic Management. Available for consultation with students.

Affiliate faculty members' duties may include teaching assigned classes in person or online, preparing course materials and lesson plans, grading student work, providing robust feedback in a timely manner, addressing student questions, and providing academic support to students as needed.

Candidates need to be sensitive to the educational needs of a diverse student population.

Required qualifications include a master's degree in health care management or related field. Preferred qualifications include a dissertation complete, defense pending, or a professional degree.

Terms of employment are part-time, at-will, and teaching assignments are dependent on budget and enrollment. Salary is based on the number of credit hours assigned at a rate determined by university policy.
