Human Resource (HR) Assistant / Recruiter

Paramount Senior Living at Chambersburg Road is seeking a Human Resource (HR) Assistant / Recruiter to join our team. This role supports the Human Resources Manager with daily departmental operations and is solely responsible for all recruitment efforts within our Skilled Nursing and Personal Care Home.

Salary is based on experience.

Position Duties
  1. Source and attract candidates for open positions.
  2. Oversee pre-employment testing for new applicants.
  3. Conduct interviews as needed; provide job details, position expectations, benefits overview, and policy information.
  4. Evaluate applicant experience and education against job requirements.
  5. Refer qualified candidates to department heads for interviews and final hiring decisions.
  6. Ensure reference checks, pre-employment physicals, and background checks are completed prior to hire.
  7. Communicate with Department Heads regarding new hire start dates and orientation schedules.
  8. Verify required licenses and certifications per Pennsylvania regulatory guidelines.
  9. Ensure compliance with all Skilled Nursing and Personal Care Home regulations related to hiring.
  10. Build and maintain relationships with local schools, career programs, and community agencies for recruitment outreach.
  11. Utilize online job boards, social platforms, and other digital tools for recruitment.
  12. Manage job postings, internal transfer requests, and referral follow-up.
  13. Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or Operations.
  • Minimum 23 years of Human Resources Generalist or HR Support experience.
  • Business Office Manager experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and candidate management skills.
