Intensive Care Nurse

Position: Registered Nurse - PICU & NICU

About the Role:

The role involves delivering comprehensive patient care by observing, monitoring, and accurately recording clinical information. The nurse will support doctors during examinations, treatments, and procedures, administer prescribed medications, and ensure patient comfort at all times. Maintaining a safe, hygienic healthcare environment and strictly adhering to health and safety standards is essential. Providing compassionate emotional support to patients and their families is a key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities

· Observe and record vital signs, conduct patient assessments, and document clinical findings.

· Safely administer medications, injections, and IV therapies, including IV cannulation.

· Carry out wound care, dressing changes, and assist with minor medical procedures.

Support doctors during ward rounds, treatments, procedures, and patient handovers.

· Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR or manual records.

· Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and hospital policies and protocols.

· Ensure patient comfort, provide health education, and offer emotional support to patients and their families.

· Identify and promptly report any changes in patient condition to the medical team.

Eligibility Criteria

· Diploma in GNM or B.Sc. Nursing.

· Relevant Nursing license (KSNC) and Certifications.

· 2 - 3 years of experience working in PICU and NICU

· Ability to work well under emergency and fast - paced conditions
