Intermediate Bi/data Developer with Deep Experience In Snowflake and Power Bi to Support Data-driven Initiatives.

Our client is a Global Leader in the Consumer Goods industry. They are looking for an Int. BI/Data Developer - Snowflake and Power BI to support their data-driven initiatives.

This role involved working on new high-impact business intelligence projects under the guidance of an in-house resource, while also addressing technical dept through the modernization of legacy dashboards and scripts.

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Toronto (King St. E) - 1-2 days/month onsite

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable BI solutions using Snowflake for data warehousing and scripting.
• Create interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards and reports in line with modern design and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data solutions that drive decision-making.
• Contribute to ongoing and upcoming BI projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Refactor and redesign outdated Power BI dashboards that do not meet current standards or expectations.
• Support data integration, transformation, and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Assist in documenting processes, standards, and best practices for ongoing BI development.

Must Have Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in BI Development roles.
• Familiarity with BI project lifecycle including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment.
• Proven expertise in Snowflake for data warehousing, scripting, and performance tuning.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI including DAX, data modeling, and visual storytelling.
• Experience refactoring and optimizing legacy BI assets.
