Description TEKsystems is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support the improvement and modernization of an existing Captive Insurance department. This role will lead technology, process, and automation initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency, transparency, and scalability while supporting effective change adoption across the organization. Skills Project Management Stakeholder Management Program Management Automation Process Improvement Project Overview Drive process improvement and automation within a mature but evolving Captive Insurance operation Partner with stakeholders across underwriting, claims, finance, risk management, and IT Improve documentation, workflows, controls, and reporting related to captive operations Support organizational change to ensure new processes and technologies are adopted effectively Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of technology and automation projects supporting Captive Insurance operations Analyze current-state captive processes and identify opportunities for efficiency, risk reduction, and improved controls Apply Process Improvement methodologies to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort Lead Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities to prepare teams for new tools, processes, and ways of working Elicit requirements and feedback from a technically skilled but difficult-to-engage stakeholder group Translate incomplete, unclear, or reluctant input into actionable requirements, project plans, and solutions Manage timelines, risks, dependencies, and cross-functional communication Required Qualifications 7-10 years of Project Management experience, with a strong focus on technology-enabled initiatives Prior experience delivering automation projects (e.g., workflow automation, RPA, system enhancements, or integrations) Demonstrated success in Process Improvement and OCM Experience working with regulated or risk-focused environments (insurance, finance, risk management, or similar) Exceptional stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, particularly with teams that are resistant or slow to provide feedback Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Honolulu, HI.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
