Job Description
Role: Java Backend Developer
Experience: 5 - 11
Location: Chennai, Hyderabad
Fulltime - Hybrid
Immediate Joiner <15 days
Required Qualifications
- 5 -11 years of professional experience in Java backend development
- Strong proficiency in Core Java and Java 8 features (lambdas, streams, functional interfaces)
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot framework and related technologies
- Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs
- Experience in building and deploying microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases and query optimization
- Experience with message brokers, particularly Apache Kafka
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs for internal and external consumption
- Implement microservices architecture following best practices and design patterns
- Develop and maintain data processing pipelines using Kafka for real-time event streaming
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with appropriate documentation
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments
