Engineers have trust, ownership, and real influence here working in a fast paced and performance led environment What you’ll have the Opportunity to do: As a Lead Data Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities: Own and steer pricing critical data systems from a technical standpoint Remain highly hands on with SQL, Postgres, and Python Set technical direction, standards, and best practice across the data platform Tackle complex, high stakes data problems end to end Act as a technical authority on delivery decisions Contribute to the evolution of data and AI driven initiatives About the Candidate The right Lead Data Engineer should have: Deep experience with SQL, Postgres, and Python Strong background working with pricing or market driven data Proven ability to lead technically on complex systems Comfortable making architectural and design decisions Confident influencing direction through expertise rather than hierarchy Highly hands on, ownership driven, and commercially aware Nice to Have Proven experience setting technical direction on complex data or pricing systems Comfortable making architectural and design decisions and seeing them through Able to guide engineers technically through reviews, pairing, and standards Acts as a technical authority and point of reference on tricky problems Experience working on business critical / revenue impacting platforms Strong interest in evolving platforms, including AI and advanced analytics What’s in it for you?
