Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat mental health conditions. Prescribe medication and monitor its effects, adjusting prescriptions as needed. Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to patients.

Develop treatment plans that use evidence-based practices tailored to individual patient needs. Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate and optimize patient care. Educate patients and their families about mental health and treatment options.

Maintain detailed records of patient care and adhere to all privacy regulations. Strong clinical skills with a focus on psychiatric care. Proficient in prescribing and managing medications.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary health team. Experience in using electronic health records.

Medical Insurance Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license. Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
