Limited X-Ray Machine Operator

Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated Limited X-Ray Machine Operator to join our team across various states. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine diagnostic radiographic procedures, maintaining X-ray equipment, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. This position requires adherence to high standards of patient care and a detailed understanding of radiographic positioning and protocols.

Operate X-ray equipment to perform routine radiographic examinations Adjust and maintain imaging equipment Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and ensure their comfort Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients from unnecessary radiation Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to evaluate radiographs for quality and diagnostic purpose Maintain accurate patient records and radiographic logs Proficiency with X-ray equipment and technology Ability to position patients and adjust X-ray machines to attain the best images Strong understanding of radiation safety and protection measures Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interactions Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification as a Limited Scope X-Ray Technician Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), preferred but not required
