Nurse Practitioner | Critical Care Location: New Mexico Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position LocumJobsNetwork is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Critical Care NP in New Mexico! We are seeking a Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner for an impactful 60-day assignment in New Mexico, starting Jul 6, 2026. This role involves working solo night shifts from 7P-7A within the unit, managing high acuity ICU cases while supported by on-call critical care physicians and collaborating with ER and Hospitalist teams.
Responsibilities and Duties Serve as a solo practitioner within the unit during night shifts Manage high acuity ICU cases Perform procedures including A/C lines and intubations Chest tube insertions are preferred but not strictly required Collaborate with on-call critical care physicians, ER, and Hospitalist teams Manage cases within the unit, with cardiac, GI, IR, and surgery cases transferred to a flagship hospital Additional Information Required Board Certification: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC) EMR: Powerchart Case logs for all procedures are required prior to submission Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
