Location: Local / Regional (home daily)

Position Summary
As a Logistics Driver, you will provide local deliveries for one of our key customers with a focus on reliability and safety. This role is responsible for safely transporting goods, maintaining delivery schedules, and providing exceptional customer service. The Logistics Driver will operate a 26 ft. box truck within a 50-mile radius of Elkhart, Indiana.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company box truck for daily scheduled deliveries.
- Load, secure, and unload materials/products as required.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report mechanical issues immediately.
- Follow all DOT, state, and company safety regulations and procedures.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and/or electronic documentation.
- Communicate professionally with customers during pickups and deliveries.
- Handle freight with care to minimize damage.
- Assist with warehouse tasks as needed (if applicable).
- Represent Due North with professionalism, punctuality, and reliability.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (CDL not required, unless specified by employer).
- Up-to-date DOT physical.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Experience operating a box truck or similar delivery vehicle preferred.
- Ability to lift and move 50–75 lbs of palleted goods regularly.
- Ability to climb inside a box truck and operate a pallet jack to move pallets for delivery.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently.
- Operate with integrity and maintain a positive attitude.
Work Environment
- Monday–Friday schedule with consistent daytime hours
- No overnight travel; home every evening.
- Frequent physical activity including lifting, loading, and entering/exiting the truck.
