We have an exciting opportunity for an ML Engineer Manager to lead our team of ML Engineers. In this role, you will drive the development using cutting-edge technologies to build out our ML engineering platform. You will play a crucial role in shaping the engineering strategy for our Machine Learning initiatives.

What you will do:

• Design Machine Learning deployment pipelines to facilitate ML models deployment using in house and cloud technologies and meeting the required SLAs. The models include but not limited to classifiers, regressors, decision trees, various types of neural networks, and LLMs.
• Communicate between the business side and ML Engineers/Scientists to understand business needs and lead the team in effectively implementing those requirements
• Collaborate closely with the stakeholders to ensure that provisioned infrastructure is compliant with the organizational security and networking policies
• Stay ahead of future ML Engineering technologies through innovative ideas, ensuring our solutions meet the evolving needs of ML

Skills required :

• 8 plus years of Software Development, ML Engineering, or MLOps.
• Strong technical skills in programming, particularly in writing production-quality code (e.g., , Java, Python etc.)
• Experience in writing and reviewing technical documents
• Knowledge of cloud technologies
• Familiarity with programmatic data access (e.g., SQL, Hive, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of effective teamwork and adaptability to evolving technologies
• Experience hiring and leading diverse teams

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with big data and associated technologies (e.g., Hadoop/Spark)
• Knowledge in data science, statistics, machine learning, or related fields
• Experience with MLOps

• Utilising the latest ML technologies and approaches likeVertexAI, feature stores
• Constructing and managing data pipelines

Education:

• Master’s degreein Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field or equivalent experience.
