Leads the creation and execution of the district’s annual integrated marketing and communication plan. Provides exceptional editing and proofreading support and reviews content for sensitivities and accuracy.
Coaches and leads a team of collaborative marketing and communications professionals who develop and execute the district marketing strategy. Oversees district marketing and webiste content strategies Directs and manages social media strategies to support district objectives and mitigates potential reputational risk. Evaluates, selects, and manages external vendors and partners, including related budgets.
Qualifications 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, including a minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity. 8+ years of experience in the AEC (architectural/engineering/construction) industry required. Highly proficient in Adobe Create Suite, specifically InDesign required. Postsecondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, journalism, or equivalent preferred.
Exceptional knowledge of and ability to manage strategic implementation of all marketing mediums, including web, print, advertising, and social media. Experience developing and managing marketing and communications as well as marketing strategy and participating in national and sector planning. Understands the company and district’s business objectives and incorporates them into marketing department strategy and plans.
Results‑oriented with an ability to manage competing deadlines and thrives under pressure. Experience managing, resourcing, and prioritizing team deadlines. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
