Mechanical Design Engineer

We are currently looking to add a Mechanical Design Engineer to our team, based in Madrid.

About the Role:

• Development of design solutions that comply with project specifications.
• Ensure compliance with deadlines and project costs assigned.
• Employ solutions and propose improvements to the project.
• Preparation and control of project documentation using the current PLM and according to department standards.
• Liaison with departments and suppliers to understand manufacturing processes and optimize designs.
• Develop 3D designs integrating different components into the equipment structure, ensuring their functionality.

Requirements:

• Academic or professional education in mechanical design, industrial engineering or similar.
• Knowledge of market products applicable to industrial designs.
• Knowledge of regulations applicable to the documentation generated in the department (drawings, LLMM, and ECNs).
• Ability to write and execute modification orders in accordance with internal procedures.
• Proficiency in using 3D and 2D CAD design tools.
• Knowledge of the concepts and implications of FEA and CFD studies to incorporate them into designs.
