Position - Mechanical Design Engineer

Qualifications: - B.E. / B. Tech. - Mechanical

Experience - 4-8 Years of experience in complicated equipment design and analysis. Through knowledge on various design aspect

Location - Navi Mumbai

Immediate Joinee Preferred

Responsibilities:-

• Working on Mechanical design & Analysis using PV Elite / Equivalent Package or Own prepared spread sheet in co-ordination with Technical head for ASME/PD Pressure Vessel and API 650/620 Storage Tank
• Correct input file generation after careful study of specification, data and standards.
• Preparation of various load cases as per code. Read specification and adhere
• Technical communication with Client / consultant.
• Preparation of analysis reports as required by customer.
• Effectively understanding customer problem.
• Co-ordinate with draftsman to prepare drawings. Take-up checking of dwgs. As and when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to insure the success of projects, individuals and the company.
• Strictly adhere company value system.
• discussing and solving complex problems with Fabricator , sub-contractors, suppliers and customers
• Managing projects using engineering principles and techniques.

Technical Skills Required

• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, principals involved in various static equipment designs
• Mechanical basics & mathematical calculation skills.

Desired Software knowledge

• Competent with computer software such as PV Elite, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using Ansys Workbench / APDL. Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point).
• Knowledge of various Indian/International codes (ASME SEC VIII DIV.I & Div. II , PD 5500 , API 650/620, TEMA / ASME UHX , BS, IS must)
