Job Summary
We are seeking a technically strong and enthusiastic Mechanical Engineer – Digital Practice to enhance our BIM capabilities across mechanical disciplines. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct BIM trainings, develop Revit MEP content, and provide hands-on technical support to project teams for BIM-related challenges.
This role is ideal for mechanical engineers passionate about digital transformation, BIM standardization, and automation within engineering workflows.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. BIM Training & Knowledge Development
- Conduct structured BIM trainings for Mechanical (HVAC / Fire /Plumbing) teams.
- Develop training modules, exercises, and digital learning materials.
- Assess skill levels and support continuous competency development.
- Act as a BIM mentor for project engineers and designers.
2. Revit MEP Content Development
- Develop and maintain Revit MEP families (HVAC equipment, piping components, fittings, etc.).
- Support development of company BIM templates and standards.
- Ensure parametric accuracy and performance optimization of content.
- Maintain and update digital content libraries as per project requirements.
3. Project Support & Coordination
- Provide technical support to design teams for Revit and Navisworks.
- Assist in model coordination and clash detection workflows.
- Troubleshoot modeling, documentation, and coordination issues.
- Ensure compliance with company BIM standards and workflows.
4. Digital Enablement & Improvement
- Support automation initiatives within the Digital Practice unit.
- Assist in implementing Dynamo-based workflows (where applicable).
- Contribute to improving digital processes and efficiency.
Essential Technical Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Revit MEP
- Working knowledge of Navisworks
- Understanding of BIM workflows and coordination processes
- Ability to create and modify Revit MEP families
- Basic understanding of mechanical system modeling (HVAC / piping)
Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of Dynamo
- Exposure to BIM automation workflows
- Experience in multi-disciplinary coordination
- Understanding of LOD standards and BIM execution plans

Educational Qualification
