Network Engineer

Overview

Network Engineer role at Lorien. This position is an onsite, 6-month contract with the potential for extension. Location: Pleasanton, CA. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM (40 hours/week). Occasional OT or weekend work may be required.

Base pay range: $70.00/hr - $80.00/hr.

Responsibilities

• Execute implementation tasks using provided scripts.
• Support the deployment and refresh of campus switching and Wi-Fi infrastructure.

Required Skills

• Cisco Catalyst and Meraki switching
• Mist (Juniper) and Cisco Meraki Wi-Fi
• DNS and DHCP
• General knowledge of Juniper WAN

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience, especially in campus environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise with the technologies listed above.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
