Job Description
The James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Nuclear Medicine Physician to join our Imaging Service. The physician will provide diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine services , including interpretation of PET/CT, SPECT, bone scans, and cardiac imaging, while collaborating with radiology, oncology, cardiology, and other specialty teams.
Responsibilities:
Interpret nuclear medicine and molecular imaging studies (PET/CT, SPECT, bone scans, cardiac imaging)
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient-centered care
Participate in quality improvement, clinical initiatives, and educational activities
Qualifications:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nuclear Medicine or Radiology with Nuclear Medicine certification
Eligible for an unrestricted U.S. medical license
U.S. citizenship required for VA appointment
