Job Description
Drive safety excellence as an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist. Ensure compliance through site inspections, develop training programs, and implement safety policies at operational levels. This role focuses on developing and maintaining safety policies and procedures while conducting regular inspections to identify hazards.
You will deliver training in compliance with legal requirements and help achieve OHSE goals. Participation in audits and liaising with industry partners further enhances our safety culture. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct regular site inspections and identify hazards • Develop and deliver comprehensive OHSE training programs • Participate in internal and external safety audits • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions • Maintain relationships with OHSE professional associations Requirements: • Post-secondary education in safety or related fields • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required • Strong knowledge of OHSE regulations and standards • Proficiency with collaboration tools and OHSE systems • Ability to achieve a safety designation within five years Enhance workplace safety and foster compliance through effective training, inspections, and corrective measures across multiple operational levels. #J-18808-Ljbffr
