OpenShift Administrator (L1 & L3) – Hiring Requirement | Belapur, Navi Mumbai.

Simple Logic is hiring for experienced OpenShift Administrators (L1 & L3) to join our team in Belapur, Navi Mumbai (Work From Office).

Position : OpenShift Administrator (L1 & L3)

Experience : 3–12 Years

Location : Belapur – Navi Mumbai

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days (Preferred)

Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled OpenShift professionals with a strong Linux background and hands-on experience in managing enterprise-grade OpenShift (OCP v4) environments on VMware-based on-prem infrastructure. The role involves cluster management, automation, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end installation and configuration of OpenShift clusters on VMware environments.
• Configure and manage DNS, storage, networking, and logging solutions.
• Administer and maintain OpenShift Container Platform (OCP v4) clusters.
• Manage OpenShift Operators (installation, upgrade, lifecycle).
• Monitor cluster health, performance, and ensure high availability.
• Troubleshoot issues related to pods, routes, registry, and networking.
• Automate operational processes using Shell scripting and Ansible.
• Ensure system security, compliance, and uptime.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Networking, and Security teams for CI/CD and monitoring setup.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and best practices.

Additional Responsibilities for L3 / Team Lead:

• Lead architecture design and implementation of OpenShift clusters.
• Handle critical incident management and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
• Drive automation strategy and performance optimization.
• Mentor L1/L2 team members and ensure operational excellence.
• Work closely with ISD and Infosec teams for audits and security implementations.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Linux and OpenShift (OCP v4).
• Good understanding of OpenShift architecture (Pods, Routes, Registry, Operators).
• Experience with DNS, storage, and networking configuration.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting OpenShift environments.
• Knowledge of Shell scripting and automation tools like Ansible.

Good to Have:

• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
• Networking knowledge (IPTables, firewalld, routing).
• Exposure to VMware vSphere infrastructure.
