Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time position for the 20262027 school year offers the opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services to students in grades K12 in Carbondale, PA. The role focuses on pediatric and early childhood populations within a school setting. Caseloads vary according to experience and candidate preference, addressing needs ranging from moderate to profound.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement speech-language therapy programs for students across K12 grades.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication development.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports.
- Tailor interventions to meet individual student needs based on standardized evaluations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credentials.
- Experience working with pediatric and school-age populations, particularly early childhood and elementary students.
- Knowledge of a variety of speech and language disorders.
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads with varied severity of needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
