Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is based in Emory, TX, providing services on-site within a school setting from March through the end of the school year in June, with options for summer and renewal for the following school year. This contract role offers the opportunity to support K-6 students with moderate to severe caseloads at a single school site, working alongside two other full-time therapists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services to K-6 students with a moderate to severe caseload in an on-site school environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success through effective communication and intervention strategies.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting or healthcare environment with pediatric populations.
- Familiarity with teletherapy is a plus, though this position is on-site only.
- Eligible or completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome.
- Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) experience in schools or healthcare settings is advantageous.
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time hours, up to 40 hours per week.
- Working hours are approximately 7:30-8:00 AM to 2:45-3:45 PM.
- Single school site serving K-6th grade students.
- Position is on-site in Emory, TX with no teletherapy option.
Additional Information:
- Collaboration with two other full-time therapists on campus.
- Interviews conducted via Zoom Monday through Friday.
