Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time pediatric speech-language pathologist role offers a rewarding opportunity to serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a dynamic school setting in Fairfax, VA. You will join a dedicated team of seven other SLP professionals who create a collaborative, supportive environmentideal for both new graduates and seasoned clinicians. The contract runs from early August 2026 to mid-June 2027, closely following the academic calendar and ensuring alignment with student schedules.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing speech-language therapy services to approximately 55 students across K-12.
- Collaborating with a small, close-knit team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports.
- Participating in team meetings and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications and credentials:
- A valid VA license or eligibility for licensure.
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) is required.
- Experience or interest in pediatric speech therapy within a school setting.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcomed.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
