Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time contract opportunity is available for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support TK-5th grade students in a school setting located in Tacoma, WA. This position offers an ASAP start and will continue through the end of the school year (EOSY).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language services to students ranging from Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and educational goals
  • Document and maintain accurate records of student evaluations and therapy sessions
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing inclusive strategies for communication support

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed or in progress is acceptable for SLP candidates
  • Experience working in pediatric, healthcare, or school settings preferred
  • Knowledge of best practices and interventions tailored for early childhood and elementary school students
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
