Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A short-term contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatrics within a school setting. This position is ideal for professionals holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) seeking a part-time role focusing on preschool-age students. The assignment is based in Grove City, OH, with an immediate start and duration of approximately 6-8 weeks.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP credentials with CCC certification
- Experience working with pediatric populations, specifically in a school environment
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Expertise in managing preschool caseloads effectively
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with educators and caregivers
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for preschool students
- Deliver therapy sessions primarily during morning hours, approximately 20 hours per week
- Document and maintain detailed records of student progress and interventions
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student communication goals
- Adjust therapy plans based on individual student needs and progress
- Flexibility to increase hours if additional coverage is required
