Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Winterport, ME, working within a K-12 educational setting. This role offers a contract beginning August 21, 2026, through June 9, 2027, covering all 183 school days. The caseload includes approximately 30 students from transitional kindergarten through 8th grade.
Key responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapy services to students within the school environment. The role involves direct speech-language intervention, progress monitoring, and collaboration with educators and families to support student communication goals. Additionally, this position may incorporate teletherapy services and requires flexibility to address diverse pediatric speech and language needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Maine
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Experience with pediatric populations in school-based settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices is preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 30 students
- Commitment to working a full 40-hour workweek, five days per week
