Plant Maintenance Manager

The ideal candidate will be constantly assessing the systems in place to ensure that they are both safe and operating efficiently. This candidate will be comfortable managing a team and conducting analysis in order to highlight areas for improvement. This candidate should also be comfortable ensuring necessary utilities are working correctly and possess strong organizational skills in order to keep track of multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities

1. Creating and maintaining a maintenance policy that supports business strategy and improves process control.
2. Looking after fire, pest control, fuel consumption of diesel, Furnace oil & minimum consumption of the same.
3. Developing and implementing engineering strategies that align with business goals.
4. Vendor coordination, Break down Maintenance & Preventive Maintenance.
5. Looking after solar panel & its maximum consumption, electricity consumption details.
6. Managing and developing engineering talent.
7. Collaborating with senior leadership to align engineering objectives with overall business strategy.
8. Makes strategic decisions on engineering investments, long-term projects, and team development.
9. Develops policies and standards for the engineering function across the plant.
10. Ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of plant equipment.
11. Managing and ensuring the availability of resources & machinery running fine with zero obstacles in production, must be within budget.
12. Overseeing vendor performance and ensuring adherence to project schedules.
13. Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement in manufacturing processes and equipment performance.
14. Providing guidance and support to the engineering team to enhance their skills and professional growth.

Qualifications

• B.E Electrical or B.Tech Mechanical
• 5 years supervisory experience with heavy machinery, production lines or related fields
• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
• Ability to identify and solve inefficiencies in processes
