Private Credit Associate

A leading private credit platform is seeking an Associate to join its London investment team. This is a high-impact role offering exposure to the full lifecycle of mid-market direct lending transactions across Europe, with early responsibility and direct involvement in investment decisions. Key Responsibilities Analyse new investment opportunities, including business models, financials, and credit risk Build and review financial models (including downside and sensitivity cases) Support deal execution, including due diligence, structuring, and documentation Prepare investment materials and contribute to Investment Committee discussions Monitor portfolio companies, including performance tracking and covenant analysis Engage with sponsors, management teams, and advisors throughout the deal process Candidate Profile 2-5 years of experience in leveraged finance, M&A, or private credit Strong technical skills across financial modelling and credit analysis Experience working on sponsor-backed or debt transactions Commercial mindset with a focus on risk and return Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
