Job OverviewTo control and improve manufacturing processes for wire harness & Automotive projectTo improve UPPH and optimize the product quality and yield to meet KPITo ensure that quality of Product/New product are made based on Customer requirementsTo ensure new product introduction (NPI) implementation to meet VCD and Customer quality expectation
Control processes on wire harness lineTo ensure that the processes are carried out in accordance to the process flows and the machine parametersTo resolve customer complaints pertaining to process problems with completed 4M analysis, Corrective & Preventive actionImprove processes on wire harness lineTo study and try out new processes/method and update the process instructions (WI, Flow chart, etc.), update specifications, drawings etc.To improve process cycle time/UPPH through new process, method, automation, etc.To resolve process problems occurring on the production lines to ensure smooth operationTo conduct pilot run pertaining to approval of new or change of components, spec etc.Improve yields on wire harness lineTo constantly study and analysis the yield losses to meet management KPIRaise / Release ECR/DRN/Rework Flow, FMEA, WI/SOP and other related process documentsInitiate to raise/Release ECR/DRN/Rework Flow, WI/SOP and other related process documents if required for process improvement, material changing, or customer requirementTo support Management/Sales team on New product, VE (Value Engineering) and VA (Value Added) activityTo propose new process/method /material with lower cost solutionTo improve cycle time/UPPHTo implement LEAN productionMonitoring/ Control the new product once launch for mass productionNew Project / First Run on wire harness lineResponsible to create work instruction for new product and new process introductionTo review and provide tooling /equipment list for new product and coordinate with related team for executionTo initiate new concept/idea of the fixture/jig for new process introduction and work with technical team for execution/implementationTo verify BOM/ drawing correctness during initial run and determine necessary test parameter, spec, proposed change in the drawing if anyTrainings of production operators with regards to new technologies and processTo determine packaging spec and to propose others spec that related to production drawing, etc.To complete, creation and verification of product documentation (New Crimp height, New Process flow, conversion of new part, etc.)
Key Qualifications and Desirable Experience- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the same role- Min D3 on electrical/electronic engineering- Familiar with electrical/ electronic components, wire harness, etc- Computer literate with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), AUTO CAD & Microsoft Project is advantageous- Fluent in English
